Job Purpose: To technically lead the Engineering team across multiple projects, from concept phase through to physical delivery of components, assemblies and tooling. To ensure procedures are followed and delivery is to specification, within time, cost and quality constraints. The role will require strong stakeholder management skills and is also customer facing.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Quality culture is maintained within the department
- Own processes for all Engineering activities
- Create, monitor and develop department processes
- Assist and lead department audit activity
- Lead NCR and CI activities
- Carry out and provide technical competency assessments for department personnel
- Lead technical interactions throughout the business, customers and suppliers
- Be the Production Engineering expert within the business
- Approve manuals, drawings and routings generated within department (and/or delegate as appropriate)
- Develop the technical growth of the department by supporting:
- Apprentices
- Graduates
- Engineers
- Senior Engineers

Essential Requirements:
- Operated within standards (AS9100 / NADCAP / equivalent)

- Hands-on composite experience
- CAD Skills (Modelling and Drawings) on Catia or similar program
