Warehouse Operative Location: Uddingston, G71 5PH Salary: £26,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits! Contract: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Benefits: Company Pension Scheme, 30 days holiday entitlement per year and further benefits available including flexi-time and a generous bonus scheme. Based in Uddingston, the company specialises in the repair and overhaul of Electrical & Mechanical components for the aerospace industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual looking to forward their career in the aviation sector, the successful applicant has the opportunity to further progress within the company and expand their technical expertise and education through our learning partnerships. The Warehouse Operative role involves: • Receipt and Initial inspection of customer components • Booking in spare parts and materials • Organising and storing of components and stock • Material picking for issue to maintenance process • Final inspection and packing of customer components for dispatch • Stocktaking at regular intervals • Shelf-life control Essential Criteria: • Relevant work experience in a warehouse environment, 3 years minimum. • Strong attention to detail • Be able to show versatility in quickly absorbing information combined with well-rounded experience. • Ability to plan and organise workload to accommodate changing requirements. • Have the ability to use Microsoft Office applications. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively as part of a team Desirable Criteria: • Previous experience operating forklifts (Full training will be given) • Experience in a regulated environment This on-site role is an immediate requirement, located at 3 & 6 Kilmartin Place, Uddingston, Glasgow G71 5PH.
