The Mechanical Engineering Technician role involves:
- The repair of precision mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic components including disassembly, inspection, fault-finding, build and test utilising company provided tooling and equipment.
- Detailed reporting of shop findings to meet the requirements of aviation industry regulations and the company Quality Management System.
- Ensuring work is completed and documented in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Working with minimum supervision utilising technical data to complete repairs.
Essential Experience & Skills Required:
- Relevant hands-on, bench-work, experience in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering, 2 years minimum.
- Expected as a minimum to have a HNC in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- You must have the ability to read technical drawings and associated information.
- Be able to show versatility in quickly absorbing information combined with well-rounded experience.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to plan and organise workload to accommodate changing requirements.
- Have the ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
