CNC Turner in Poole

Responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality components from a range of exotic materials.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, STEP files and technical diagrams.
• Set up and operate 2‑ and 3‑axis CNC lathes, including Fanuc and XYZ controllers.
• Maintain a safe and tidy work environment at all times.
• Liaise with managers and shop‑floor staff to highlight technical issues or potential risks.

Qualifications

• Time‑served machinist; city and guilds in mechanical manufacturing engineering or equivalent (preferred but not essential).
• Manual turning skills desirable.
• CAD/CAM experience desirable; training can be provided.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to workload and business needs.
• Work well in a team environment.
