We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Engineering Apprentice to join our engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in aviation maintenance, working alongside experienced Licensed Engineers in a fast-paced hangar environment. You will gain practical experience across a wide range of aircraft maintenance tasks, ensuring our aircraft remain safe, airworthy, and compliant with industry regulations.

Helicopter Maintenance Apprentices learn to inspect, maintain and repair complex aircraft systems (mechanical and electrical) under supervision, focusing on safety and industry-wide regulations. Apprentices will progress from basic tasks to specialised component work, requiring strong hands-on practical skills, problem-solving, teamwork, and a commitment to safety and learning.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintenance & Repair: Carry out routine inspections, unscheduled maintenance, and defect rectification under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer.
  • Modifications: Assist in the installation of new equipment and modifications following detailed technical specifications.
  • Component Handling: Support the team in the removal and installation of aircraft blades, engines, and other critical parts.
  • Ground Operations: Assist with aircraft movements within the hangar and on the apron to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all tasks are performed in strict accordance with Part 145 regulations and specific aircraft maintenance manuals.
  • Logistics: Support the team with the delivery or collection of parts and materials as required.
  • Aircraft Presentation: Carry out internal and external aircraft cleaning to maintain high professional standards.
  • Line Support: Assist the Line Assistant with aircraft refuelling requests and turnaround tasks.
  • Safety & Quality: Ensure all work is performed in a safe, effective manner and to the highest possible standard.
