Purpose of the Role: The Aircraft Maintenance Planning Administrator will be a crucial link between our clients, maintenance teams, and management. You will be responsible for co-ordinating the scheduling, documentation, and logistical planning for helicopter maintenance projects. This role requires strong administrative rigor and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-stakes aviation environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, working closely with maintenance managers and technicians.
- Manage and track all associated documentation (work packs, compliance records, certifications) for maintenance projects.
- Manage day-to-day communications effectively and efficiently with internal teams and external clients regarding project status and requirements.
- Manage and follow up on customer requirements and short-term actions under pressure, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
- Maintain and update the maintenance tracking system and company database.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with our clients and partners.
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills, with a proven ability to manage complex schedules and documentation.
- IT/IS Computer Literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly adapt to inhouse maintenance tracking software.
- Ability to multitask effectively, managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and follow up customer requirements and short-term actions under pressure.
- Previously experience working within the Aviation industry and in particular, Planning, would be advantageous.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Must have a clean UK driving license and own mode of transport.
