Role Purpose.
The Salon Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the salon, ensuring a seamless, high-quality guest experience, a motivated and well-presented team, tightly controlled stock, and strong footfall conversion from the departure lounge. This is a hands-on role: the Manager is expected to work on the treatment floor themselves as well as lead the team.
Key Responsibilities.
Salon Operations.
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the salon, including rotas, opening/closing procedures, and health & safety compliance.
- Ensure the salon consistently meets AeroSpa's brand and service standards.
- Manage bookings, walk-ins, and treatment scheduling to maximise chair/table utilisation during peak departure times.
- Report performance, incidents, and issues to the Director as required.
Stock Management.
- Order, receive, and manage stock levels for retail and treatment products.
- Conduct regular stock takes and minimise waste, loss, and overstocking.
- Maintain accurate stock records and flag reordering needs in good time.
- Ensure products are displayed and rotated in line with brand guidelines.
Team Leadership & Motivation.
- Lead, motivate, and coach a team of therapists and front-of-house staff.
- Run team briefings and on-the-day guidance to keep the team engaged, especially during high-pressure travel periods.
- Foster a positive, professional team culture.
Promotion.
- Actively promote AeroSpa services and treatments to passengers in the departure lounge to drive walk-in bookings.
- Represent the AeroSpa brand confidently when engaging with passengers and airport stakeholders.
Treatments.
- Deliver treatments personally as part of the working week, including.
- Manicures & pedicures / nail services.
- Threading.
- Massage.
- Maintain full competency and up-to-date qualifications across the above treatments.
- Uphold hygiene, safety, and hospitality standards on every treatment delivered.
Skills & Experience Required.
- Proven experience in a salon/spa management or senior therapist role is preferred.
- Qualified and experienced in nail services, threading, and massage is preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Confident, outgoing communication style - comfortable approaching and engaging passengers.
- Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays in line with flight schedules.
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Beauty Therapy preferred; candidates with a minimum of 3 years' salon experience will also be considered.

Salary.
Β£35,000 β Β£40,000 per annum depending on experience
