Are you an experienced leader with a passion for aviation and a proven track record of managing complex operations? Our Client, Hawk Aviation was established in 1988 and is a global leader in the supply of aftermarket aircraft spare parts. Hawk Aviation provides 24/7 support to airlines, MROs, and traders worldwide through the sale, repair, exchange, and loan of new, overhauled, and serviceable components for commercial (passenger and cargo), regional, and commuter aircraft. Hawk Aviation’s expertise spans aircraft disassembly, surplus acquisitions, consignment programs, and strategic inventory management, with a focus on highly demanded components across a wide fleet coverage. We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead Hawk Aviation’s UK team. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the subsidiary’s commercial, operational, and strategic performance. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technically-oriented environment and has deep knowledge of the aviation aftermarket. On offer is a permanent contract with a highly competitive salary package.

Role Requirements
- Right to live and work in the UK
- Ideally should be within 1 hour’s commute of LHR
- Deep understanding of aircraft components, ATA chapters, and industry logistics eg Quantum, ERP, CRM
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a senior commercial or operational role in the aviation aftermarket, preferably in spare parts trading
- Experience managing teams
- P&L understanding
- Proven business understanding & experience required
- Aftermarket experience
- Requires accountability, strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, and business development experience
