We’re thrilled to offer a fantastic long-term opportunity for experienced FAA A&P Mechanics to work on the iconic Queen of the Skies – the B747 – at East Midlands Airport (EMA) in the UK. Location: East Midlands Airport, United Kingdom

Position: FAA A&P Mechanic

Aircraft Experience: 747-400 experience preferred; other widebody experience also considered

Contract Type: Long-term, ongoing

Shift Pattern: Flexible

Start Date: Immediate and rolling throughout the year

Pay Rates: New, updated competitive rates

Training: Gen Fam courses available

Requirements:

  • Valid FAA A&P license
  • Hands-on experience with commercial aircraft maintenance (wide-body preferred)
  • Knowledge of B747 systems (CF6 or PW4000 experience is a plus)
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK
  • Ability to follow technical data, maintenance manuals, and complete documentation accurately
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Flexibility to work day/night shifts and weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and non-routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to identify faults and carry out corrective action.
  • Ensure accurate and complete maintenance documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and airworthiness standards at all times.
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and other mechanics to ensure timely aircraft turnaround.
