Salary: up to £32,000 per annum dependent upon experience

Location: Stansted, Essex

Aeropeople have partnered with a global designer and manufacturer of electronic instruments and electromechanical devices who are now looking to hire a permanent Electrical Fitter, to be based at their site in Stansted. The successful candidate would be expected to be on site 5 days per week.

This role is working a 39 hour week. Hours of work are Monday- Thursday: 8am- 4.30pm and Friday: 8am- 4pm. A 9 day fortnight is available to those who want it.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform workshop activities for Avionics or Heater departments to support customer demands.
  • Test, inspect, repair, and overhaul components.
  • Update and interact with scheduling boards, giving feedback on daily issues or concerns.
  • Maintain and ensure implementation of all standard operating practices and procedures.
  • Ensure strict compliance and implementation of all safety standards.
  • Meet health, safety and environmental regulations.
Benefits:
  • Basic salary up to £32,000 dependent upon experience.
  • Overtime available at x 1.5 normal rate during the week/ x 2 normal rate at weekends.

About You:
  • Prior experience in an engineering/workshop environment is preferred.
  • Some workshop or engineering experience preferred.
  • Aerospace or electrical experience is a bonus, not essential.
