We currently have a vacancy to join a British, regional airline as a Maintrol Engineer, to be based in Didsbury, Manchester. Established almost 20 years ago, they currently have a fleet of 20 aircraft and operate a network of domestic and European services serving both the business and leisure markets. They hold a UK CAA Type A Operating Licence.
The best part of the role is the people you work with and the team you’re part of, combined with the opportunity to gain broad, end to end experience across the airline operation. You’ll work at the heart of the business, engaging with all aspects of the operation to deliver safe, reliable aircraft performance to the highest standards. They operate a 5-5-4 shift pattern with 2 weekends off per month guaranteed (day and night shifts).
Main Responsibilities:- Acts as the central coordination point between Line Stations, third party maintenance providers and pilots to ensure safe and reliable daily operations.
- Manages scheduled and unscheduled Line Maintenance activities, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and maintenance programme requirements.
- Controls and monitors Acceptable Deferred Defects (ADDs), driving timely rectification and coordinating required spares, tooling and documentation.
