We currently have a vacancy to join a British, regional airline as a Fleet Performance Engineer, to be based in Didsbury, Manchester. Established almost 20 years ago, they currently have a fleet of 20 aircraft and operate a network of domestic and European services serving both the business and leisure markets. They hold a UK CAA Type A Operating Licence. Due to an internal move, they have an opportunity to join their Maintenance Control Team as a Fleet Performance Engineer.

This role manages and develops the company’s preventative maintenance programme and leads the airline's predictive maintenance philosophy for their fleet of Embraer E190 aircraft. With a focus on the highest levels of aircraft reliability, this role helps ensure they carry their passengers safely, and on time, to their desired destination.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Production of Engineering Technical Requirements in a timely manner to address latent and active aircraft defects, planning and ensuring spares requirements are in place.
  • To ensure continued focus on Technical Dispatch Reliability from an Operational and reliability perspective to meet the company’s TDC.
