We currently have a vacancy to join one of the world’s leading, global defence, security and aerospace companies as an Assistant Engineering Manager. The role will be based in New Malden and offers a hybrid working pattern (3 days per week on site). This will be working a 37 hour week with a 1pm finish on Fridays. Flexible working hours are also available.
The company works at the cutting edge of technology, creating more than 100 new inventions every year for customers in over 100 countries. You will be joining the Maritime Services division and will be heavily involved in a project which is a technology refresh programme for the Shared Infrastructure (SI) and Combat Management System (CMS) products. The team are bringing together the latest technologies and ways of working to deliver a modern, high-performance product that can support the whole surface ships fleet.
This role is at the heart of the project and requires regular engagement with the MoD, key suppliers and internal stakeholders, providing good visibility of the wider business, great opportunities to develop and enhance your skills and knowledge, and with the potential for future opportunities and growth.
The Assistant Engineering Manager reports to the Project Engineering Manager and is responsible for supporting the engineering team.
