The predicted salary is between 19.8 - 24.2 £ per hour.
This role is primarily responsible for performing aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification tasks under supervision at the clients facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned aircraft maintenance, repair, and modification tasks.
- Accurately record all work performed on the appropriate maintenance records such as worksheets/task cards.
- Comply with procedures detailed within the Maintenance Organization Expositions and any associated documentation.
- Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and COSHH requirements.
- When not assigned to aircraft work, fully utilise available time productively to support the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility.
- Perform any additional duties or tasks as directed by the Base Maintenance Manager.
- Actively support and promote a positive safety learning culture through the reporting of occurrences and potential hazards and by adopting continuous improvement and human factors principles with their work.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Aeronautical apprenticeship or recognised national qualification in aircraft maintenance.
- Minimum of 4 years aircraft maintenance experience.
- Be able to demonstrate an organised approach to daily job tasks.
- Can demonstrate a high level of skill across multiple disciplines, such as mechanical, structural, and power plant tasks.
- Knowledge of maintenance standards.
- Knowledge and ability to use aircraft maintenance data.
- Initial Human Factors (HF) training.
- Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) training.
- Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS) training.
- English Language proficiency (Written & Spoken).
Shift Pattern: 7am to 7pm (11.5 Hours paid)
