Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 38 hours per week (Monday to Friday, with a shorter 4-hour shift on Fridays)

Start Times: 6:00am / 7:00am / 8:00am (flexible after training)

Warehouse Operative Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Worker to join our cutting department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the aerospace industry, with full training provided and opportunities for progression.

Warehouse Operative Responsibilities:

  • Operate bandsaws and cold saws to cut raw materials to specified sizes.
  • Trim lower-level parts in preparation for assembly.
  • Assist in the degreasing section during peak periods.
  • Handle a variety of metal types and sizes (1mm to 152.4mm).
  • Support material movement; forklift experience is beneficial but not essential.
  • Learn and assist with stores work and ERP system activities.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience with machinery or mechanical handling is advantageous.
  • ERP system experience is a plus.
  • Forklift operation experience is desirable but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
