About Us: David Hart Aerospace Pipes Limited manufactures pipes and ducts in aluminium, titanium, nimonic alloys, and stainless steels predominantly for the aerospace industry, but also for the motorsport (F1) sector. Based in Downton and formed in 1999, our continued growth has been secured through the next decade by the winning of substantial new business. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Inspector.

Main Duties:

  • Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will inspect finished fabricated products, purchased parts, and subcontracted processes, both dimensionally and visually, generating/reviewing First Article Inspection Reports to AS9102.
  • Support the Non-Conformance Report system along with root cause and corrective action activities as well as continual improvement across the business.
  • Involvement in approved operator audits.
  • Undertake training to become proficient as a Product Release Delegate (DSQR).

Qualities:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within industry, ideally in aerospace inspection or quality.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of NDT or FPI would be an advantage.
