Responsibilities
- Analyse and understand the forecasted/planned customer demand to align material availability.
- Validate production schedules against capacity and manage manufacturing order releases in line with assembly requirements.
- Manage escalations when deviations from the plan occur.
- Supervise the introduction of engineering changes, product transfers and commissioning.
- Collaborate with operators, production planners and material suppliers to ensure timely and sufficient delivery.
- Accelerate materials through the machining workshop if necessary.
- Communicate effectively customer delivery commitments.
- Optimise planning parameters (PFEP) to achieve inventory and production goals.
Qualifications
Essential skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive issues to resolution.
- Experience using SAP, Excel, and other digital tools for materials planning.
- Ability to work under pressure, influence stakeholders, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable skills:
