Your Role

  • Ensure all product is final viewed using the relevant drawings and specifications prior to parts being booked into stores for use.
  • Record turn-backs (issues that stop or hinder the process) to support continuous process improvement.
  • Work seamlessly within a team of Final Viewers, maintaining flow of product with no conflict.
  • Report to Shift Managers / Ops Managers on status of parts progression and issues affecting delivery targets/metrics.
  • Perform visual and instrumental measurements on manufactured components on all batches, ensuring compliance.
  • Drive process improvements where necessary.
  • Assist in problem resolution where necessary.
  • Ensure all documents are up to date and adhered to compliance.

  • Proficiency with measuring equipment such as go/no-go gauges, micrometers, verniers, height gauges; bonus if familiar with CMM software.

  • Critical thinker and strong decision maker.
  • Self-starter able to manage work load day-to-day based on customer demand, liaising with shift production planners and shift managers.
