Mission description
What does the role look like? You will be the main interface for a diverse portfolio in aeronautics covering the Commercial, Military, Business, General, Regional and Helicopter sectors. Acting as the voice of the customer, you will provide on-site and remote support, drive the resolution of technical and operational issues, and establish trusting relationships with customers and internal teams.
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers, interfacing with Airlines, MROs and the Customer Focus Team
- Provide on-site support for technical, commercial and operational issues across the region
- Collaborate with the Actuation Aftermarket Service team (Customer Support, Business Development, Service Centres and Warranty) to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders from C suite to engineers and technicians
- Capture customer expectations and fleet health, producing regular customer reports
- Own and drive resolution of customer concerns, maintaining the Rolling Action Items List (RAIL)
- Support customer onboarding, Entry into Service (EIS) activity and new contract proposals
- Attend operational and technical reviews, sharing holistic customer feedback
- Provide 24/7 emergency support as required
- Monitor product and support performance, feeding insights back to engineering and technical teams
What will you bring to the role?
Essential skills
- Proven experience in the Aerospace / Aviation / Airline industry within a customer-facing role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage credibly at all organisational levels
- Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities and travel extensively (25-50%)
Desirable skills
- Experience in an OEM or Field Service Representative role
- Commercial, business development or technical background
- Strong presentation skills for executive and customer audiences
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- English fluency required; additional European language desirable
- One of the following qualifications:
- Associate degree in Aviation Maintenance (or related) with 10+ years' relevant experience, or
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Maintenance (or related) with 8+ years' experience, or
- Master's degree with 5+ years' experience, or
- No degree with 15+ years' relevant aviation experience
Additional Information
- Role requires flexibility, including irregular hours and on-call support
- Frequent domestic and international travel expected
