An exciting opportunity has opened within the Procurement organisation for the position of Supply Officer based at Broughton. The successful candidate will drive supplier performance across the end to end supply chain. This role manages a wide portfolio of suppliers in support of all Airbus Wing Programmes. Airbus has a global supply chain. The key mission of the Supply Officer is to manage the performance of the supply chain, whilst developing and deploying improved process, methods and tools into their relevant teams.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
- Privileged interface into the Plant Customer.
- Ensure best in class demand management of the supply chain.
- Co-ordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure world class supply chain performance.
- Deploy transnational process and policy.
- Constant review and performance management of a portfolio of suppliers.
- Support sourcing decisions and ensure operationally managed through deployment.
- Support the deployment of the Procurement digital strategy.
- Identify improvement opportunities both internally and externally.
- Manage and influence Procurement inventory targets and actuals.
About You
Experience ideally in one of the following areas: Supply Chain, Procurement, Experience in the use and deployment of Digital solutions/tools, Experience of transnational working, MRP expertise and experience of SAP in a manufacturing environment, Project management and LEAN experience. Willingness to travel and flexibility. Education in supply chain management: APICS or equivalent.
