LOCATION: Derby – Rolls Royce Facility
SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to a BPSS check (including a criminal record check).
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel within UK and internationally.
TYPE: Full-time, 100% onsite requirement.
About the Role
You’ll work as part of a team of 6 onsite, directly with Rolls Royce. The role involves managing contract execution and being responsible for supplier On Quality On Time (OQOT) performance. You will work closely with high-level stakeholders onsite at Rolls Royce, Derby, ensuring recovery, improvement, and development plans are implemented to secure delivery of products and services in conformity with the contract between Airbus & Rolls Royce. This role offers a great development opportunity for those seeking to work closely with suppliers, with direct shop floor access, autonomy, and influence over high-level stakeholder relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as interface between Airbus, Rolls Royce, and other suppliers for operational activities.
- Assess suppliers during tendering and contribute to selection decisions.
- Manage/contribute to supply chain & quality aspects of the contract, responsible for On time, On Quality (and On Cost when applicable) performance.
- Manage supplier quality approval, ensuring compliance with certifications in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor or support new product introduction, ToW, and changes to ensure industrial qualification maturity before serial phase.
- Assess supplier capacity, capability, and performance; contribute to supplier development.
