This company is seeking a driven individual to join their dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative, complex electronic systems. As a Reliability Engineer , you\’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of their cutting-edge products.
Key Responsibilities of the Reliability Engineer Role:
- Support the preparation of Reliability Programme Plans that meet the requirements of Def Stan 00-40
- Conduct system and sub-system reliability activities, including deriving reliability requirements, preparing predictions, and producing FMECAs
- Manage critical items lists and provide support for reliability testing and analysis
- Collaborate with internal and external project Reliability Panels and Committees to provide assurance that reliability requirements are achieved
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a Reliability Engineer , preferably in the defence or aerospace industry
- Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles and practices, particularly in the context of complex electronic systems
- Proficiency in reliability prediction, FMECA, and reliability test planning and analysis
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address reliability challenges
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
