Production Manager (H/F) β SAFRAN SEATS GB LIMITED at AEROCONTACT
Safran Seats is a leading global manufacturer of aircraft seats; the role is to manage factory operations and drive Lean processes while delivering on-time, within-cost products to customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- To effectively manage the factory work operation in the execution of the overall production plan whilst driving down process cost.
- To effectively manage the manufacturing team on a daily, weekly & monthly basis to delivering products to an agreed schedule and within defined costs.
- Be responsible for the manufacture and/or delivery of product to customer requirements.
- Plan resource to meet production output.
- Co-ordinate production loading plans with cross-sectional Managers.
- Identify and address training needs to maintain quality output in accordance with the Quality Procedures.
- Promote a Lean environment.
- Contribute to the strategic development of the Company.
- Accurately report on KPI\\\βs.
- Monitor and report on budgets and targets.
- Implement working practices to reduce health and safety risks to as low as is reasonably practicable.
- To become the lead, mentor and developer within the team.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Educational background in Supervisory/Management.
- Sound knowledge of lean and problem solving tools.
- Previous experience of leading a team within a high density business.
- Demonstrable experience of driving a culture of lean and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with Microsoft packages; Change Management experience; Risk Management experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to analyse information; high attention to detail.
- Ability to build strong working relationships; energetic and enthusiastic approach to improvement.
- Root cause analysis, Corrective actions, 4D, 8D problem solving; QRQC problem solving.
- Ability and flexibility to travel to other ZSUK sites if required.
