Prestwick Aerosystems continues Ayrshire's longstanding aircraft manufacturing tradition. From our Prestwick site, we manufacture aircraft wing structures used on Airbus commercial aircraft worldwide. This Graduate Apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across the full Supply Chain function while completing a Business Management degree. You will develop practical knowledge of procurement, material planning and supplier management, supporting the business to deliver efficiently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

How you will contribute to the team:

  • Support procurement activity, gaining exposure to supplier negotiations and cost reduction initiatives.
  • Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and purchasing tools to support operational delivery.
  • Assist in managing materials, including bill of materials updates, schedule changes and impact analysis.
  • Maintain communication with internal teams and suppliers to support delivery and supply chain performance.

Requirements for the role:

  • 4 Highers at Grade B or above including Mathematics and English.
  • An understanding of supply chain, business or commercial principles.
  • Confidence using IT systems including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • An interest in procurement, materials management and manufacturing operations.
  • Awareness of potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
