Shape the Future of Aerospace at Safran. Join a team of skilled professionals creating high‑quality landing gear pipes through CNC bending, hydraulic fitting, swaging, and pressure testing.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and install tools, measuring equipment, and control stations for production.
- Load CNC programs and configure equipment settings to meet production requirements.
- Operate machinery to perform bending and fabrication processes, carrying out intermediate checks for accuracy.
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with geometric tolerances and quality standards.
- Support improvement projects to enhance product quality and reduce production time.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
- Strong understanding of pipe manufacturing processes and fabrication principles.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test instructions.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as 5S and Lean/6‑Sigma, with a commitment to FOD compliance.
- Experience with CNC programming is an advantage, alongside proficiency in dimensional inspection.
