Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Controller to support inventory and production operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves managing stores, issuing tooling, kitting, and loading work packages to meet production schedules.
Responsibilities
- Stock control and shelf-life management
- Kitting and packing (including use of hand tools)
- Loading/unloading of goods and manufacturing cells
- Tooling issue and receipt
- Updating inventory records and systems
- Supporting delivery schedules and manufacturing programmes
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing stores or inventory control role
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Flexible approach to shift patterns
- Manual handling, lifting & slinging (including overhead cranes)
- ESD awareness
Desirable
- PC skills including Excel
- Forklift licence
- Familiarity with Kanban/2-bin systems
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
