Logistics Operative
Working as a key member of the Logistics team in a busy environment, you will be responsible for activities supporting the receipt and dispatch of aerospace components, ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements. You will support Production Teams in various activities to meet customer expectations. This multi-tasking role involves working with the latest equipment and gaining valuable experience in aircraft logistics. Who are Safran Landing Systems?
Our MRO organization partners with global customers, including major airlines such as British Airways, easyJet, Wizz Air, Iberia, Vueling, Air Canada, Etihad, and Qatar, providing maintenance, repair, and overhaul services.
What will I be doing?
At our MRO site, as a key Logistics team member, responsibilities include:
- Goods Inwards: Receiving, surveying, and inspecting new, processed, and consumable parts
- Packing, Dispatch, and Loading of products (including some heavy lifting)
- Delivering items to internal customers
- Managing stock and condition of packing cases and materials
- Handling documentation related to scrap parts disposal/mutilation
What do I need to succeed?
- Current and valid Fork Lift Driver Licence
- Experience in lifting & slinging is advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to obtain DBS certificate
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre
