Joining a global high‑technology group, the role is based at the Aftermarket Mixed Military Legacy manufacturing facility in Wolverhampton.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and disassemble aircraft electrical and hydraulic actuators and flight controls per supplied drawings and process instructions.
- Identify proper and improper fits, alignments and conditions of components.
- Adhere to relevant quality procedures and standards, following route cards, work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Perform basic measurement techniques, using hand gauging tools, and complete paperwork and system transactions for completed work.
- Support general team duties, including 5S and continuous improvement, and declare non‑conformances for quality disposition activity.
Qualifications
- Read engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics that identify and explain the function of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components.
- Proven problem‑solving skills and experience or exposure to lean manufacturing.
- Ability to use hand and machine tools.
- Self‑motivated and able to work with little or no supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills are an asset.
Additional Information
This is a shift‑based role with some overtime required. Full training and support will be provided.
