We’re looking for an experienced Development Engineer to join our aerospace team and support key qualification and development testing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal teams to develop customer requirements into test definitions and formal Qualification Test Procedures.
- Generate test equipment definitions to support Qualification Test activities.
- Set up tests and mount units in test rigs.
- Perform Qualification testing where required, monitoring and recording appropriate data throughout.
- Support generation and issuance of Qualification/Development documentation.
- Participate in meetings and workshops internally to liaise with internal teams on task allocation, communicate customer requirements, report project test status against plan, share findings, and provide assistance on project test issues.
- Perform Function/Acceptance tests of Development units.
- Adhere to mandated EH&S policies.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards.
- Proficient user of general MS Office applications.
Skills & Experience
- Ability to understand, evaluate, and interpret complex test data.
- Use of Diadem (desired).
- Logical approach to solving problems.
- Ability to deliver and present results through clear written and oral communication.
- A proactive, logical approach to engineering challenges.
NB: This role is inside IR35.
