Overview
CAM S Engineer – Apache Airworthiness Support for Boeing Defence UK (BDUK). Location: Middle Wallop Flying Station, Hangar 5 – Apache MRO. Working pattern: 4 days on-site, 1 day from home (37.5 hrs/week). Start Date: ASAP. Contract Duration: Until end of 2025, with potential extension. Security Clearance: Active SC required (or recently lapsed with potential to renew).

BDUK is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Continuing Airworthiness Management Support (CAMS) Engineer to join our team at Middle Wallop. Responsibilities
- Conduct physical aircraft inspections and document reviews to ensure maintenance compliance.
- Act as the eyes and ears of the MOD, reporting and logging any issues.
- Support the Apache Mil CAMO and Deputy CAM in delivering MAA MRP-compliant airworthiness activities.
- Liaise between the Mil CAMO and Part 145 AMO to maintain oversight of maintenance and modifications.
- Attend MRO and safety meetings, contribute to audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure proper use of BDUK\’s Quality and Safety Management Systems.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of MRP Part M and Part 145 regulations.
- Aircraft maintenance technical experience, ideally with military aircraft.
- Proficiency in Goldesp (maintenance management system).
- Familiarity with MOD Form 700 Series and aircraft technical manuals.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, dynamic approach.
Desirable Qualifications
- UK Professional Registration (Incorporated Engineer or higher).
- Experience with AH64 Apache systems.
- Understanding of international airworthiness standards (EASA, FAA, etc.).
- Quality management systems knowledge (e.g., AS9100).
