About the Role
Senior project engineer contributor within CTG's engineering team, responsible for development, qualification and production support of composite products and processes in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed CAD models and drawings (NX preferred), with FEA knowledge expected.
- Understand drawings and technical specifications to assess and maintain compliance to all requirements; liaise with customers and suppliers to determine technical requirements when necessary.
- Review and approve component and assembly drawings through detailed understanding of GD&T and interaction between components.
- Generate qualification test/analysis strategy and rationale for novel structural composite components.
- Perform or oversee qualification and development testing using in‑house and subcontract facilities; interrogate test results to verify component and material performance.
- Author, review and approve qualification test procedures and reports.
- Generate engineering performance/stress reports for existing and novel components.
- Apply basic statistical analysis where beneficial.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to perform DFMEA, PFMEA, project technical risk assessments and generate project plans.
- Manage engineering changes and change processes, understanding the impact of change requests to implement changes (Teamcenter experience beneficial).
