Role Overview: Catering & Logistics Operative
This role supports the day-to-day operations within catering and logistics environments, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and high standards of hygiene at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with food preparation and packaging in line with operational requirements
- Handling stock, including receiving, checking, and organizing goods
- Maintaining cleanliness across all work areas, including dishwashing and sanitation duties
- Accurately checking products and completing relevant documentation/forms
- Supporting warehouse-related activities, including stock movement and inventory control
- Adhering to all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards
Candiate Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic numerical and literacy skills for stock checks and documentation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends where required
- Physically capable of manual handling tasks, including lifting and working in chilled environments
