We are a small family‑run business offering specialist system installation services to the construction industry, primarily within the new build housing sector. We are now seeking a proactive and results‑driven New Business Sales Executive to join us full‑time. This office‑based role will play a key part in growing our customer base and driving sales performance across new and existing sectors. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, closing sales, and nurturing long‑term client relationships. We’re looking for a dynamic professional ready to thrive in a high‑performance environment and contribute to our ambitious growth goals.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Generating new business leads through prospecting, networking, and outreach
  • Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact to closed deal
  • Meeting with potential clients to understand their requirements and propose tailored solutions
  • Preparing and presenting client proposals, quotations, and tenders
  • Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects
  • Managing CRM records and tracking performance data
  • Supporting tender submissions and contributing to commercial strategy
  • Collaborating with internal teams including design and estimation to deliver compelling proposals
  • Regular reporting to Directors with accurate sales activity and forecast updates

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Quarterly Sales Targets and Bonus Thresholds
  • Minimum of 60% New Business vs. 25% Existing / 15% Maintenance sales ratio
  • Deal Conversion Rate (Leads to Closed Won)
  • CRM Data Accuracy and Pipeline Management
  • Proactive activity rate (e.g., calls/emails/meetings per week)

Required Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Ability to remain effective even when working under pressure
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

  • Proven experience in a B2B sales or business development role, ideally within construction or technical services
  • Knowledge of CCTV, TV/SAT, Access Control, or related installations is advantageous
  • Competency with Microsoft Office suite (especially Outlook and Excel)
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (experience with SimPRO is beneficial)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience preparing quotations and tenders is desirable

Expected Qualifications

  • BTEC/NVQ Level 3 or higher
  • HNC or HND in a related discipline
  • CSCS/ECS Card (preferred)
  • Evidence of professional sales training or CPD

  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
