About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Part 145 Quality Engineer to join our Quality team. This role supports the Quality Manager in ensuring the highest levels of airworthiness, safety, and regulatory compliance across our Engine MRO shop and wider business. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and conducting audits, managing corrective actions, and driving continuous improvement across our quality systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Quality Manager.
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and the MOE remain compliant with applicable competent authority regulations.
  • Maintain and administer the competence program for all staff levels.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance with Part 145 requirements.
  • Identify, record, and report nonconformities; follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement across quality systems.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, controlled, and up to date.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a Part 145 Quality organisation.
  • Over 5 years’ experience in aviation maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of EASA/CAA Part 145 regulations and quality management systems.
  • Lead Auditor trained (required).
  • Familiarity with Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Relevant qualifications in aerospace engineering or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
