About the role
We are currently seeking a Stores & Logistics Officer to join our team in Newport. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in handling customer inquiries and ensuring timely order processing. If you possess strong organisational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a proactive attitude, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Handling customer requests for materials, sales, and exchange inquiries
- Meeting AOG deadlines to ensure customer satisfaction
- Preparing orders for shipment to vendors and customers
- Coordinating deliveries with couriers for expedited service
- Performing data entry using Quantum system
- Maintaining an organized filing system
- Receiving materials from suppliers and conduct quality control inspections
- Handling and store aeronautical parts, including electro-sensitive devices
- Addressing queries and manage rejected parts
- Packing parts for domestic or export dispatch
- Maintaining shipping documentation
- Collaborating with colleagues across departments to ensure smooth company operations
- Performing other reasonable tasks as needed
Experience & Skills
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Passion for learning and proactive attitude
- Valid driver's license beneficial
- Familiarity with Quantum Inventory system beneficial
- Forklift truck license desirable
- Hazardous Goods in Transit certificate advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach
- Ability to work independently and in a dynamic team
- Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
