AerFin is breathing new life into aviation. We buy, sell, lease and repair aircraft, engines, and parts to maximise the value for their owners and provide a lower-cost supply of material to our airline, lessor and MRO customers. Through our deep technical expertise and high-performance culture, we deliver confidence-inspiring quality, safety and value to our customers.

We’re looking for an experienced, proactive, and operational Senior People Partner to join our People Team at AerFin. This is a hands-on, high-impact role, working closely with leaders and teams to deliver meaningful people initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic and fast-growing business.

You’ll work alongside the People Partner, reporting to the Head of People & Talent and partner with leaders across the organisation to shape a positive workplace culture, ensure legal compliance, and deliver our people strategy. This role is perfect for a motivated self-starter with a passion for generalist HR and a genuine commitment to putting people first — a core AerFin value.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead HPC (High Performance Culture) initiatives to enhance employee experience.
  • Build trusted relationships across the business, serving as the first point of contact for employees and a strategic partner to senior leaders.
  • Deliver a consistent, professional HR service, lead change, drive innovative solutions, and provide expert guidance on areas such as legislative updates.
  • Review and implement HR policies and practices that align with the company’s goals and values, enhance efficiency and productivity, and meet the needs of employees.
  • Advise on remuneration and reward packages to ensure both competitiveness and fairness.
  • Utilise the HR software system (HiBob) to maximum potential, to minimise HR administration and provide people data, e.g., staff turnover, absence, etc.
  • Provide first line advice on a range of HR issues for employees and managers.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues from start to finish, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence, redundancy and Settlement Agreements as required.
  • Support local Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and ESG initiatives, ensuring alignment with company strategy while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Experience:

  • A self-starter with proven experience in an equivalent role.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualified, or willing to work towards Level 7, or equivalent experience.
  • People-oriented, with excellent active listening, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to tactfully and thoughtfully manage complex and difficult situations.
  • Excellent current knowledge of UK employment law legislation.
  • Global experience in the US or Singapore would be nice to have, but not essential.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

In Return We Offer:

  • Discretionary Bonus Scheme
  • Volunteering Leave
  • Life Assurance
  • Pension Scheme
  • Hybrid working
  • Gym Membership
  • Grandternity Leave
  • Appreciation & Festive Rewards
  • Study support and sponsorship (CIPD or equivalent)
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Private Medical Insurance & Healthcare Scheme
  • 28 days of annual leave with an option to buy or sell an additional 5 days per year
  • Electric Vehicle Leasing Scheme
  • Social events, travel opportunities and much more
