About the Role

This role, based in Newport on UK hours, you will support the trading team covering the Americas region by researching aircraft and engine availability, analysing deals, maintaining CRM records, and coordinating across teams. You will assist with transaction evaluation, liaise with industry partners, and help improve processes while building your knowledge in trading, compliance, and deal structure. Key Responsibilities

  • Research aircraft and engine availability, market values, and trading opportunities.
  • Support sourcing, deal evaluation, and preparation of documentation.
  • Maintain deal trackers, CRM systems, and internal reports.
  • Assist with financial modeling, commercial analysis, and pricing processes.
  • Collaborate across sales, contracts, and technical teams.
  • Engage with airlines, lessors, and MRO partners while learning from senior traders.
  • Participate in training programs and contribute to internal projects and initiatives.
  • Build a solid understanding of origination, deal structures, compliance, and transactional processes.
  • Help identify inefficiencies, operational bottlenecks, and potential deal risks.

Ideally, you have

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Proactive mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel and work across global markets.
