AEP Ltd is looking for an organised, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individual to join the Service Department as a Business Administration Apprentice. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy engineering business while studying toward a Business Administration qualification with Exeter College.

About the Employer

Leading experts in compressed air systems, service, and maintenance across Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, and Dorset. AEP, or Aylward Engineering & Pneumatics, began in the early 1970s offering a range of pneumatic products and compressor services in Honiton, Devon.

What You'll Do

  • Planning and scheduling engineers' work and service visits
  • Processing customer enquiries, orders, service paperwork and quotes
  • Supporting customers with service bookings, breakdowns, and parts enquiries
  • Creating job sheets, sales orders, and service documentation
  • Managing records, scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate customer information
  • Supporting sales activities, including pneumatic and Infinity product sales
  • Following up quotations and promoting AEP's products and services to existing customers
  • Liaising with engineers, suppliers, purchasing, and customers to ensure work is completed efficiently

Training Outcome

Once the successful candidate has passed probation, they will have the option to progress as a Service Coordinator or into the Sales team.
