What are we looking for?
- An experienced Landscaper/Grounds Maintenance Operative
- Someone who can flex between longer hours in Summer and shorter hours in Winter (annualised hours contract)
- A qualified driver who must be able to meet the Highway Code eyesight test requirements. Candidates must be able to read a vehicle number plate from a distance of 20 metres (65 feet) in good daylight, as stipulated by UK legislation.

What will we expect in return?
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out various grounds maintenance tasks across client sites, including retail parks, business parks, shopping centres, communal residential areas, and other designated locations. The role ensures the upkeep, aesthetic quality, and safety of outdoor spaces, including general maintenance duties, litter-picking, emptying bins, and more.
What do we need from you?
- Previous proven Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance experience
- Full driving licence with 6 points or less
- Experience of using a range of garden tools & equipment
- An excellent knowledge of H&S
- Hold a Pa1 & Pa6 certification (preferred)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good verbal communication skills
- A great eye for detail, with high personal standards
- Flexibility, reliability and the ability to deliver within the timescales given
- A friendly and courteous approach
- Punctuality and a desire to succeed
- An ability to work autonomously, whilst ensuring your line manager is kept updated on progress
