What are we looking for?
- An experienced Landscaper/Grounds Maintenance Operative
- Someone who can flex between longer hours in Summer and shorter hours in Winter (annualised hours contract)
- A qualified driver who can meet the Highway Code eyesight test requirements, including reading a vehicle number plate from 20 metres in good daylight

Expectations
As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out various grounds maintenance tasks across client sites, including retail parks, business parks, shopping centres, communal residential areas, and other designated locations. The role ensures the upkeep, aesthetic quality, and safety of outdoor spaces, including general maintenance duties, litter‑picking, emptying bins, and more.
Required qualifications and experience
- Previous proven landscaping and grounds maintenance experience
- Full driving licence with 6 points or less
- Experience using a range of garden tools and equipment
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety
- Hold a PA1 & PA6 certification (preferred)
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Excellent eye for detail, with high personal standards
- Flexibility, reliability, and ability to deliver within given timescales
- A friendly and courteous approach Punctuality and a desire to succeed
- Ability to work autonomously while keeping line manager updated on progress
