Our client is seeking a trader analyst to join their specialist financial trading firm operating in global commodities markets. The firm is active across a range of exchange-traded and OTC instruments and is focused on developing a scalable, technology-enabled trading platform. Key Responsibilities
- Support daily trading activity, including trade capture and reconciliation
- Coordinate with operations and support functions on desk-level and broader initiatives
- Assist with execution of exchange-traded and OTC transactions
- Work alongside traders on research, analysis, and development of trading ideas
- Contribute to internal market commentary and analytical reporting
- Evaluate potential opportunities across new products and strategies
Qualifications & Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in a quantitative or technical discipline
- Recent graduate with up to 1 year of relevant professional experience
- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities
- Clear interest in financial markets and trading
- Proactive, resilient and adaptable with a strong sense of ownership
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, performance-oriented environments
- Exposure to programming or data analysis tools (e.g. Python, R, C++, or similar) is advantageous but not required
