Our client is a dynamic tech business based in the UK, dedicated to innovative solutions in the technology sector. They foster a collaborative, fast-paced environment where the team works hard and has fun while delivering exceptional results.
They are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC). This front-line role will provide essential support to managers across a range of HR functions, with a strong emphasis on recruitment coordination, system management, and operational HR tasks. The ideal candidate will be autonomous and agile, thriving in a busy environment where multitasking and quick decision-making are key. This position can be either 4 or 5 days per week, with flexibility required for any day off, starting in early February.
Key Responsibilities- Provide front-line HR support to managers, including managing sickness absence, Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), flexible working requests, maternity and paternity leave, and changes to Terms and Conditions (T&Cs).
- Handle onboarding and induction processes for new hires, ensuring smooth integration both on and off the HR system.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including managing the recruitment system and supporting end-to-end processes.
- Maintain and look after the HR system (Cascade experience is advantageous), generating training reports, conducting HR audits, and updating organizational structures.
- Manage systems-related recruitment tasks and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
- Juggle multiple tasks autonomously, agreeing on priorities and delivering results without the need for constant guidance.
- 2-3 years of experience as an HR Advisor or in a similar role.
- CIPD qualification or working towards it is a plus, but not essential.
- Experience with HR systems, particularly Cascade, would be beneficial.
- Strong ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
- Easy-going and agile, with a positive attitude and can do mentality.
- Able to thrive in a fun, friendly team that works hard and values getting things done quickly.
- Excellent multitasking and juggling skills in a busy environment.
- Autonomous and proactive, comfortable working independently after tasks are set and agreed upon.
