We are supporting a well-established consultancy client in their search for a ServiceNow Lead Solution Architect. This role offers the opportunity to take a senior technical leadership position, shaping and delivering ServiceNow-based solutions for a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of ServiceNow Service Management platforms, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned to client and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of ServiceNow solutions across client engagements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective, high-quality solution designs.
- Provide technical leadership and direction to delivery teams, ensuring architectural integrity and best practice.
- Drive continuous improvement of ServiceNow platforms through optimisation, automation, and integration.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure solutions align with wider business and technology strategies.
- Create and maintain clear architectural documentation covering current and future state designs.
- Participate in and facilitate technical and process workshops.
- Work closely with enterprise architecture functions, including supporting configuration and instance migration activities.
The role includes responsibility for providing technical leadership and mentorship across multidisciplinary teams, supporting the development of business analysts, administrators, developers, and solution architects. You will play a key role in fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and engaged delivery culture.
From a delivery perspective, you will assess the impact of new requirements and lead the implementation of proactive IT Service Management and Operations capabilities. This will involve the design, automation, integration, and management of primarily ITSM and ITOM-related toolsets and environments.
Qualifications- Extensive experience designing and delivering ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules.
- Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management best practices.
- Experience working in complex, large-scale enterprise environments with multiple integrations.
- Proven expertise in system architecture and solution design.
- Broad technical understanding, including cloud technologies, enterprise platforms, cyber security, and emerging technologies such as AI and IoT.
- ITIL certification.
- Track record of delivering complex, business-critical IT solutions.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organisation.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring capability.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver to agreed timelines.
- Aware of current technology trends and the wider market.
- ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (CMA) or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- Experience of Agile, Scrum, or similar delivery methodologies.
