A prominent SaaS client of mine are seeking an Account Manager to join them on a remote basis, in which you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients, identifying new sales opportunities, as well as meeting and exceeding sales targets. You will act as the main point of contact between the company and their clients, and will play an instrumental role in ensuring customer satisfaction is upheld at all times, whilst upholding retention and maximising revenue as much as possible.
Key responsibilities:
- Client relationship management β building and maintaining long lasting relationships, understanding their needs to provide tailored solutions, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients, especially on key products and services.
- Sales and revenue generation β meeting and exceeding sales revenues and targets, along with identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities with their existing clients.
- Account planning β developing account plans and strategies to achieve sales goals, conducting market research to grow the area, forecasting and tracking account metrics to monitor progress, as well as supporting account planning and development.
- Product knowledge β maintaining a thorough understanding of the products and services my client offers to communicate the usage and benefits effectively to clients, as well as staying updated on offers from competitors and industry trends.
- Negotiations and closing β negotiating contract terms and prices with clients, preparing and presenting proposals to clients, closing sales and finalising agreements, and managing the sales CRM.
- Customer support and issue resolutions - addressing all client requests, issues, and concerns in a prompt and professional manner, whilst working with internal teams on a collaborative basis to solve these issues.
- Reporting and documenting β maintaining accurate, updated records of all client interactions and transactions through a CRM platform, as well as providing regular sales reports and updates to management.
- Cross-functional collaboration β working closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams, so that strategies can be aligned and customer needs can be met.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a huge plus.
- Proven sales experience.
- Possess strong presentation, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Results driven, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Possess knowledge of relative industry trends and products.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
