We are now seeking a Research Analyst to join our Global Credit Research team. Based in our Edinburgh or London office, you will be responsible for providing high quality fundamental credit research through the qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment grade corporate fixed-income issuers in a number of corporate non-financial sectors. In addition, you are expected to effectively communicate fundamental views to portfolio managers and other investment professionals across our platform.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide valuable fundamental analysis for c. 100-125 companies within the investment grade corporate sector.
- Gather data, assess trends, forecast metrics, and provide outlooks on companies.
- Monitor industry conditions and assess how trends and themes may affect the credit quality of companies within the sector.
- Effectively communicate original, defendable, and practical fundamental opinions that support investment decisions for clients.
- Maintain and publish value added content and reports on covered companies.
- Build and maintain relationships with external industry authorities and counterparts.
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Have strong experience working in the Investments industry, in a similar credit research analyst role.
- Have fluency with Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Preferred IMC or CFA Level 1 qualification.
