We are excited to present an outstanding opportunity to be part of our team as a Quality Engineer. This role is critical to the success of the Engineering department, while working closely with Manufacturing Operations, Procurement, and Technical Service.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Engineering or QA/QC role (or related field).
  • Plan, execute, and oversee the inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications and overall expected product performance.
  • Maintain product complaints, component non-conformities, and create corrective action procedure(s) using records and tracking systems, including root-cause analysis.
  • Assist the Manufacturing Operations and Engineering teams in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels for production goals and KPIs.
  • Working with Procurement, develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures to ensure the capture, investigation, and vendor communication of observed quality-related issues.
  • Develop and lead in-line, incoming, and outgoing quality inspections for various components and aspects of the manufacturing process.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor reliability data and production processes, identify, correct, and control quality related issues, recommend improvement solutions, and create quality documentation.
  • This role involves finished goods testing, process auditing, support factory audits, maintaining and controlling vendor relations, and collaborating with other teams to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Summary:

Within a team environment, ensure finished goods and manufacturing processes meet company and industry quality standards. You will develop and lead in-line, incoming, and outgoing quality processes, evaluate production and vendor-related quality defects, perform component/finished good root cause evaluations, and maintain and control defective material.
