Purpose of the Role

Data is one of AEGIS London’s greatest assets. As the Operations Delegated Data Analyst, you will support the day‑to‑day operational delivery of delegated data processes, focusing on the efficient, accurate and timely handling of bordereaux (risk, premium and claims data). You will work within AEGIS’s Data Operations capability model to provide dedicated delivery support, aligned to defined standards, controls and processes, ensuring delegated data is validated, reconciled and processed consistently while escalating issues when required.

Duties and Accountabilities

  • Work with a third‑party provider to monitor the end‑to‑end processing of delegated data, including bordereaux sourcing, mapping, validation, reconciliation and issue tracking in the Bordereaux Management System.
  • Monitor bordereaux receipt and retrieval, ensuring completeness and timeliness, and escalating gaps when required.
  • Perform bordereaux validation against agreed standards, business rules and Lloyd’s reporting requirements.
  • Manage data queries and inbox activities, including triage, investigation and resolution with third parties and internal stakeholders.
  • Support third‑party provider oversight by ensuring adherence to operational processes, data standards and service expectations.
  • Assist in data quality monitoring and control activities, identifying issues, trends and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to operational MI and reporting, supporting visibility of delegated data performance and service delivery.
  • Support process standardisation and continuous improvement, helping to reduce manual intervention and enhance efficiency.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience working with delegated data, bordereaux or operational data processing within the London Market or a similar environment.
  • Good understanding of the delegated data lifecycle, including ingestion, validation and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with Lloyd’s Coverholder Reporting Standards and delegated authority structures.
  • Strong data handling capability with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
  • Experience with bordereaux management systems (e.g., VIPR Intrali) is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage high‑volume operational data processes in a structured and controlled manner.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise BAU processing and query resolution.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work across internal teams and third parties.
  • Proactive approach to identifying issues and supporting process improvements.
