Responsibilities
- Maintain care skills at current level and undertake training as required.
- Provide leadership to the care staff within Aegis Care Solutions Ltd.
- Organise and coordinate care services in accordance with best practices, policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations under the direction of the manager and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time.
- Organise, coordinate and supervise care services within the company in accordance with agreed standards.
Main Duties
- Develop effective working relationships with the Registered Manager of the Company.
- Support an open, positive and inclusive management culture.
- Participate in the evaluation of the company against the agreed organisational goals, as well as business and quality objectives.
- Work to establish effective employer-employee relationships.
- Ensure the Service Users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
- Ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of Aegis Care Solutions Ltd and supervise staff.
- Participate in the maintenance of the companies management information systems.
- Assist in the formulation and implementation of care policies and procedures.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the standards required by legislation related to the registration of the company, and other legal documents.
- Act within the company’s budget based on the companies objectives and within the projected revenue.
- Work in a cost-effective manner.
- Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the companies quality assurance program.
- Assist in the design and administration of an evaluation of the Care standards and care service provision.
- Systematically solve day-to-day problematic issues that arise.
- On weekends you will be on call as part of your job.
- Will be working in both Leeds and Otley.
- Need to be a driver.
- Work is 50% office and 50% working in the field.
- Rate of pay will be reviewed after 3 months.
Job Details
- Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Permanent.
- Salary: From £13.00 per hour.
COVID-19 Considerations
- To keep our staff safe they are provided with full PPE which must be worn in all clients homes.
- Daily Lateral flow tests are mandatory to detect if you have COVID before attending our vulnerable clients.
- We strongly advise all staff receive all doses of the COVID Vaccine and will be co-operating with Leeds City Council regarding their vaccine rules.
- This means that should the vaccine become mandatory all our workforce would have to be fully vaccinated.
