To maintain Care skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required to maintain practices as up-to-date. To provide leadership to the Care staff within Aegis Care Solutions Ltd. To organize and coordinate care services in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed on standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the manager, and within the financial plans agreed from time-to-time. To organize, coordinate and supervise the Care services within the company in accordance with agreed standards.

Main Duties

  • Develop effective working relationships with the Registered Manager of the Company.
  • Support an open, positive and inclusive management culture.
  • Participate in the evaluation of the company against the agreed organisational goals, as well as business and quality objectives.
  • Work to establish effective employer-employee relationships.
  • Ensure the Service Users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
  • Ensure that all staff contribute to the efficient running of Aegis Care Solutions Ltd and supervise staff.
  • Participate in the maintenance of the companies management information systems.
  • Assist in the formulation and implementation of care policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the standards required by legislation related to the registration of the company, and other legal documents.
  • Act within the company’s budget based on the companies objectives and within the projected revenue.
  • Work in a cost-effective manner.
  • Be involved in the implementation and maintenance of the companies quality assurance program.
  • Assist in the design and administration of an evaluation of the Care standards and care service provision.
  • Systematically solve day-to-day problematic issues that arise.
  • On weekends you will be on call as part of your job!
  • Will be working in both Leeds and Wakefield.
  • Need to be a driver!
  • This job is based in the field so you will be completing spot checks/assessments etc in clients homes.
  • Role is not office based.
  • Rate of pay will be reviewed after 3 months.

Salary From £10.50 per hour

COVID-19 considerations To keep our staff safe they are provided with full PPE which must be worn in all clients homes. Daily Lateral flow tests are mandatory to detect if you have COVID before attending our vulnerable clients. We strongly advise all staff receive all doses of the COVID Vaccine and will be cooperating with Leeds City Council regarding their vaccine rules. This means that should the vaccine become mandatory all our workforce would have to be fully vaccinated. NOT CURRENTLY RECRUITING OVERSEAS/FOR WORK PERMIT *COVID Vaccine is now mandatory for all of our staff unless medically exempt (we would need evidence from a medical professional).
