TheUniversity of Wolverhampton at The Halls is looking for energetic, resilient, and customer-focused Bar Staff to join our team. If you\’ve got experience handling cash, pouring pints, and keeping your cool when it gets busy and delivering excellent customer service, we want to hear from you!

What You\’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming guests with a smile and making them feel safe, relaxed, and ready to enjoy the show.
• Serving and presenting drinks quickly, efficiently, and with style – always delivering a Best-In-Class service.
• Keeping the bar and venue looking spotless so our guests can focus on the performance.
• Letting customers know about our latest drinks and promotions.
• Pitching in with the wider team when needed – from scanning tickets to helping our access customers.
• Making every guest\’s night out feel like something special.

What We\’re Looking For

• Previous bar and/or cash-handling experience.
• Someone who stays positive, friendly, and unflappable under pressure (angry customer? Long queue? No problem).
• A natural people-person who enjoys delivering great service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and those last-minute gig nights.
• A team player who\’s proactive, reliable, and ready to get stuck in.

We\’ll give you a thorough induction and training in the role so you are set up for success.

Where

You\’ll be based at in Wolverhampton. You will need to be available to work evenings and weekends at events (5pm-11pm) and also during the day for some events. We send out the shifts we need people to work a month in advance from our rota system and askthat you pick shifts regularly each month.

When

Assessment centres will be held 17 and 18 January 2026.

We need people to start work with us on 1 and 2 February 2026.
